Cootie Catchers! The name immediately brings smiles and giggles to children. My students get excited and want to practice the facts.
Imagine having your students actually ask if they can practice their math facts!! That's what happened in my classroom when I introduced these cootie catchers.
One of my students actually said, "Wow, Mrs. Stancliff, I'm going to learn my facts so fast with these!" I was so thrilled that I didn't even correct his grammar.
